Splash, Play & Grow: Toddler Swim Program
At Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre, we believe that water confidence is a gift for life. We are delighted to introduce our Toddler Learn-to-Swim Program, thoughtfully designed for our youngest little explorers aged 1 to 3.5 years.
Rooted in our commitment to international standards of excellence and safety, this program gently introduces toddlers to the water through play-based activities, sensory exploration, and guided movement. Each session nurtures confidence, coordination, and comfort in water, creating a joyful and empowering first swimming experience.
Most importantly, your little ones will always be in safe and expert hands, guided by an AUSTSWIM–Licensed Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics, ensuring the highest levels of care, safety, and age-appropriate instruction.

I used to lap swim at NAC & my daughter picked up swimming from there. It’s been 3 years since she started, & we finds NAC an extention of home & an incredibly safe space for our child to pick up a life skill.

Swim for Fitness
I started LAP swimmimng at NAC 10 years ago. Later in 2018 was enrolled in SFF batch & that changed my swimming perspective. This helps me for my open water program. Overall an excellent pool.

We've had such a great experience at NAC. The facility is top-notch and, most importantly, feels very safe. I'm excited to see my son grow as a swimmer here, and we both feel like we've found the perfect fit.

Will the “assessment and progression” criteria be applicable during summer camp?
Yes, you will continue to get the assessment & progression updates on parent portal. The status of skill acquisition at the end of the summer camp will be considered for renewal of membership in June’25.
Why Start at Age 1?
The window between ages 1 and 3 is a “golden period” for development because a child’s brain is creating millions of neural connections every second. Swimming is one of the few activities that simultaneously engages a toddler’s physical, cognitive, and emotional systems.
