The team comprises of an enthusiastic group of swim teachers and coaches all certified from internationally recognised training centres such as the National Institute for Sports, Austswim and American Swimming Coaches Association. NAC fosters engaging learning environments to enable continuous professional development.
Dr. Rudd is Ireland’s National Performance Director for Swimming & Diving, Olympic Gold Medal & World Record Coach & President of the World Swimming Coaches Association. Jon is a highly effective National & International leader, Director and High Performance expert with a broad experience in successful sporting, sports science and educational environments, including the development of high performance swimmers to win Olympic gold medals and set World records.
Malavika Gubbi is the advisor to NAC for the development and implementation of the training program of Water Polo. After a stint with corporate life, she pivoted to become a full-time swim teacher. She is an international water polo player having represented India at the Asian Games 2010. She is also a FINA water polo referee and probably the only woman referee in the country.
Sharath Chandra is the Program Coordinator at NAC for the Competitive Program. He is an AUSTSWIM certified Assessor (TSW,TCS and INF) and an ASCA Level 3 Performance Coach. Through his career spanning 10 years he has coached Competitive swimmers who have won State and National medals, facilitated training and professional development for swim teachers and coaches and has formulated and run successful swim programs in some of the established academies such as Swimlife, Nisha Millets Swimming Academy and JSW Sports and Inspire Institute of Sports.
Ankush Kanbarkar is the Program Coordinator at NAC with prime focus on the Pre Competitive Batch. He has attained Diploma in Swim Coaching from NSNIS, Sports Authority of India. In addition, he is a certified Austwim Coach and a National Level Swimmer. He has more than a decade of experience in imparting scientific and systematic coaching and has significantly contributed to swimmers winning medals at the State and National Level.
